Wouldn't such a union automatically Chinese dominated in a short time given the population difference (wich only will increase over time)?
Exactly. Best case scenario is a post ww2 scenario where you force peace on China with a Soviet part, a part that is OTL Taiwan (about the same size as the communist part) and Tibet. Slice that monster up a little.

Edit: the Chinese civil war of OTL was only possible because everyone was fed up with war. Now you have the ability to stop it with a less war weary population.

Sorry for double post but after re-reading the previous comments, we should form an Eurasian Union with China since Wang wants our territories and we want to keep them and our influence in Asia.
The union will have to be economical or political, certainly not as deep as the OTL European Union.

Maybe something similar to the BRICS group can be achieved with China.

Instead of COMECON, we get the non-capitalist alternative to the IMF for all countries.
Well we can still call it COMECON, but with IMF characteristics.

The Socialist world will definitely need the financial assistance to survive the ideological struggle that will emerge in the later half of the 20th century.

Would China even consider such a proposal? They may see this Eurasian Union as nothing more than an attempt at dominance, and I doubt that they're particularly keen on Europeans telling them what to do after the Century of Humiliation. Cooperation is still a good idea, but we'd likely have to ease them into the idea of further integration.

Beside Chinese population domination that might turn of the Russians from such a proposal, this is what might turn off the Chinese from more then cooperation.

So since there is a new regime run by Pilsudski in Poland I think it would a good idea to establish relations with Roman Dmowski - chief ideological and political opponent of Jozef Pilsudski. He is a pro-russian/soviet politicial who considers Germany as main rival to Poland and is anti-British at the same time not to mention his rejection of Pilsudski's Intermarium. In my opinion it makes sense to approach him and his political movement, because as they say - enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Opposing the Polish Regime

While secretly the Soviet Union redirected some funds to create secret and secure centers of research and industrialization from the rebuilding funds and foreign investor capital coming into the Soviet Union, more important problems were cincentrated upon. The Polish Coup that brought to power Ignacy Mościcki as President of Poland under First Marshall of Poland Józef Piłsudski soon faces first resistance, by a growing unrest in the White Russian and Ukrainian regions, but without open rebellions. Instead the local Socialist and Communist Parties, as well as the Polish Farmers and the Polish Workers are encouraged to oppose the new government, as clearly the new regime opposes their liberties and freedoms as much as the White Russian and Ukrainians, at least that is what Soviet Union supported propaganda tells the Polish people, leading to increasing opposition and unrest against the new regime within the first days and weeks already. At the same time the Mongolian SSR was kept as a very depending, internally and externally guided, but official neutral independent nation state, to not outright alienate and rival the Chinese in the region to direct for now, giving the Soviet Union time to concentrate upon the threat of fascist and nationalist regimes in Europe instead.

Secret German-Lithuanian-Soviet Partition Plan of Poland?
A) Yes with both Germany, Lithuania and Czechslovakia (of everyone takes a piece of the Polish Cake we don't look so guilty ourselves).
B) Germany alone will do just fine
C) Don't engage into outright hostilities or War in Europe for now
D) Call the League of Nations to find a solution by protecting the self-determination of ethnic White Russians and Ukrainians (plus maybe Lithuanians) in Poland against the Polish Regime and help the locals find the right decision during such a vote

A with D - becuase never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake - we should be prepared for potential partition of Poland, but on the international stage we have to keep up the facade that we dont want to divide them

A) While the Polish people have the same inherent right to self-determination as any other people, the unfortunate reality is that the current Polish government is hostile to Soviet national interest. This combined with the plight of our Ukrainian & Belorussian brothers and sisters necessities direct action on our part. That this joint action will improve relations with Germany and Lithuania is or course another positive.
