That doesn't explain Bowie.Yeah. But I only moved here two years ago, which may explain it. Most of my pronunciations are in line with St. Louis, DC, or the Northeast (where I've lived, and in the case of the Northeast, where my family's from).

Alright. I'm not sure about MN on the first one, though.DC. There's a town in Maryland called Bowie that's pronounced Boo-wie that's fairly near DC. If you look at DC, it's something like a 48-40 split.
