Cause for now only a overall invitation of workers had gone out.

Supported by the Soviet Union and better of TTL then OTL overall.

Japan is more then angry, but after the reunification of China ther is little they can do in East Asia to oppose it.

Naturally it will and it will hit hard.

The Americans, Chinese and Russian would not let the Japanese keep any more then they got away with OTL most likely.

As for 1821, no amount of reforms or buildup in Mexico can truely prevent Manifest Destiny with the population and industrial difference between the USA and Mexico, the POD would have to be way before that at least for that.

Ah ok but still like to see Japan's culture not Westernized completely.

True but if Mexico does become a new "Our" series then we could allow non-Spanish immigrants into our Northern territories and (temporarily) allow Britain and/or France to invest into our nation as a way to start up/expand our industry.

While not a de-nazified as Germany, Japan changed much themselves out of the same idea that once changed them before during the Meji Restoration, they had learned that they could not win, were weaker and had brought humbling and shame upon themselves, which is why they copied the winning culture and society to undo that for the future (and it worked fine esecially in the early 1990's), that is overall what several friends of mine had told me when I was there.

I belive Mexico is best helped with powerful allies, who fear loosing Canada to the Americans, so they might ahve a common interest.

True but it depends on the region though as your friends might've grown up in an area that viewed the West as a good idea (which isn't good sometimes...).

Yup pretty much since Britain didn't want them to become a powerful nation, maybe they'll be aggressive on their holding in Canada (at least the Eastern half for now) as to also counter or weaken America's 'Manifest Destiny', which might have* their population (temporarily) be discourage on that ideal.

I aimed at different kind of game here, as most gives more or less fresh start for other nations, but here I wanted to make the game with more difficult setting so to say, to see what could we do as players with growing power of USA
