No PBS and specifically: No Sesame Street

Discuss the ramifications on history without Sesame Street or any PBS programs?

No PBS children's programing

I grew up watching Sesame Street and Mr Rogers. The PBS show were geared towards developmental education, I can't think of any other programs on TV at the time I was growing up (early-mid 80's) that had that same kind of focus. I know for certain that a certain four year old wouldn't know how to count to ten in Spanish.

I shudder at the thought of what a cruel, dystopian world it would be without Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.

C would not be for Cookie, and it definitely would not be good enough for anybody. A terrifying possibility, in my opinion.
