A map of the Avatar World right before the Battle of Zaofu.
Much is speculation and made up of my own intimate of LOK. This is most evident in the islands to the west of the United Republic and north of the Southern Water Tribe.
Omashu i am assuming is a De facto member of the Earth Empire. We don't here anything of Omashu being absorbed by the EE. But we saw on the map kuvira used in E1, as discussed in the LOK thread, that it had yet to be taken. Then we hear more recently that Zaofu is the last Earth Empire territory to be taken (Except for the UR of course!). SO this explains my reasoning.
Credit to Emperor of New Zealand for the base map. Also if you do not approve I CAN take it down.
I also have a map for the Height of the fire nation during ATLA. I probably will not post it unless someone suggests I should. I'm not as proud of it as I am with this one. But I'd say it is my second best Avatar map.
Those don't look like the canon internal borders of the Earth Kingdom/Empire. Also I believe Zaofu is fairly close to Omashu, at least somewhere South West of Ba Sing Se.
Could map effort though.
OTL Blueshirt goals:How many of these were based on OTL Blythe's own ideas?
Too tired to explain, ask questions if you have any.
Why is there a random splach of USA in Central Asia? Why is Albania, Germany, and Italy all territories?
Why does super-China extend all the way to Poland?
How do bits of the UK exist in Africa when the US annexed Britain?
Islamic end times prophecies also prominently feature 'the Romans' (IOTL oft-genericised to mean 'the West'), so I'd expect the Caliphate to be monomaniacally focused on Romania.

I sort of forgot I was working on this, and decided to finish it today after finding the Inkscape files. Although it uses the 'a bayonet made of milk' quote, this is not actually A Bayonet Made of Milk, an idea I still want to develop some day.

Instead, it's a moderate Italy-wank based on a recent game of Darkest Hour; the Republicans win the Spanish Civil War, leaving Mussolini fuming but still occupying the Balearics, which he promptly annexes for his trouble. In 1938, despite the mounting cost of turning Ethiopia into a workable colonial possession, Il Duce decides to go for broke and make an alliance with Bulgaria to attack and dismember Yugoslavia. France is focused on Hitler's re-armament of Germany and does not support the Little Entente once Hungary makes it clear it has no interest getting in on the action. This campaign concludes with a lightning strike into Greece using motorised infantry (motorbikes). France and Britain plan to declare war but are pre-empted by conflict between Germany and Poland. Mussolini gives reassurances to Britain and France that he does not intend to join the war. After the fall of France, however, he sends troops to occupy Nice, Savoy, Corsica, Tunisia and Djibouti. The Free French aren't happy about this but Britain is happy that Germany's puppet is being shown up as incapable of keeping control of its territory. In 1944, with Germany halting American and Soviet forces and turning initial advances into a WW1-esque meatgrinder, Mussolini offers to open another front against Hitler; his price is the territories he is already occupying as well as sphere of influence in Austria. Worried the Soviets will overrun all of Germany, the western Allies accept. In the aftermath of WW2, Mussolini believes his alliance with America essentially gives him carte blanche in southern and central Europe, and promptly manufactures border incidents to justify war with Switzerland. However, he underestimates both international sympathy for the Swiss and their ability to resist, and the Alpine War lasts two more years and inflicts more Italian casualties than their short-lived participation in WW2. He is ultimately able to wring out a narrow victory that sees Italian forces retreat from all but Ticino. Italy, its puppets, and sole ally Bulgaria will be shunned by both democratic and socialist blocs throughout the Cold War.

Do you think cherry blossoms dream of flying on the backs of cranes?
You meant about the map...well, this is awkward. I guess I'll save my next question about the mysterious origins of babies for later.
How did Australia come out unscathed by whatever the U.S. is doing?

Normally I dislike posting WIPs, but I'm not sure I'll ever finish this (not just Europe, I mean the whole world map, which I have bits and pieces done on as well) and I'm looking for some feedback on ideas for the border between Milan and Venice (the border on the map is just so I remembered the general area) as well as Poland-Lithuania's border (the general size and area I've decided on, but not sure on exacts).
