As Dreamers Do Part Deux

Any questions or comments before we get to August and September of 2009?
I'd just like to know what the cast for the Roseanne revival on AEG TV is, I'm curious enough to see if I'm right about no-one from the original series except for Roseanne herself being in the revival
Roseanne Barr confirms that an eight-episode revival of her 90's sitcom Roseanne will air on the Miramax Network (formerly AEG TV) later this fall.

For one, John Goodman already said no.

ABC is already fast tracking The Conners to keep him occupied. Also, look for John as the voice of Garfield on the new Garfield Show on Festival this fall.

Good for John.

Also, how can The Conners and AEG'S Roseanne be running at the same time?

The Conners will focus on Dan (John Goodman) carrying on after a bitter divorce.

Roseanne's new self-titled series on the Miramax Network is a fictionalized account of her descent into madness in the months since the controversy surrounding her unprovoked slander of Johanna Thomas. The supporting cast will likely be James Woods, Kevin Spacey and a few other Weinstein sycophants.

I'll take The Conners any day of the week. Heck, Roseanne choosing AEG as her network of choice already sent her down the less desired path.

When the day of reckoning for Miramax comes, the new Roseanne series will become lost to time - just like OTL.

I forget. How many of the monsters of the entertainment industry find their way at Miramax, former or current? I've lost track at 20.

@Tacomaster
Yup. Right into the hands of a President who resigned amid backlash for his mishandling of Hurricane Katrina.

1. If Kanye West was hired at Miramax after what he said about Tiffany Disney, does that mean that Miramax hates Disney?
2. Isn't Ray Spum in Moscow with Butch Hartman too?
3. If James Woods is part of Miramax ITTL, then does that mean that the Family Guy version of him is much more villainous?

And I suppose the Miramax headquarters are in Dracula's castle?

1) Miramax has been adversarial against Disney for YEARS now. Going all the way back to when Harvey bashed Tiffany at an NYU luncheon in his first term in office. But before that, Walt, Jr. refused to have anything to do with Harvey after the George Liquor episode with a character that indirectly lampooned Tiff. Oh yeah and Harvey also accused Walt, Sr. of antisemitism on the campaign trail in 2000.

On the other hand, Harvey averting 9/11 ITTL saved the lives of Pat Tillman and Garnet "Ace" Bailey. Pat still plays football for the Arizona Cardinals while Ace now works for Tiffany as general manager of the Mighty Ducks of San Diego.

2) Yes. Butch is Ray's boss in Moscow.

3) Yes, much more villainous. But in recent years, Woods was fired from the role of Hades, which has now been recast with Seth Green.

And I suppose the Miramax headquarters are in Dracula's castle?
Yes, if Dracula lived in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Mitt Romney, Miramax's main bankroller, still lives in Salt Lake. He was the man who helped bring the 2002 Winter Olympics to the area and the Rocky Mountain Extreme into the WLAF a few years later. Romney later sold his stake in the Extreme to Larry H. Miller, the wealthiest Utahn and owner of the Utah Raptors of the NBA.
